Science Exhibition
Karpaga Vigneswara Vidyalaya Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Ullagaram, organised Science, Arts and Crafts Exhibition in a grand manner for two days on 2nd and 3rd March 2024.The exhibition was open to all. The Chief Guest for the event was Mr.J.Diwakar,185 Ward-DMK Secretary and Mrs. Sharmila Diwakar,185 Ward – Councillor(Greater Chennai Corporation) and Mrs. Selvakumari Palaniappan, Senior Principal of Beta Group of Institutions- Chennai and Kancheepuram. The Exhibition started with the prayer of lighting lamps in “Ram Mandir”, then live model of a Rocket was launched in the school ground with countdown and sparkling fire boosting the Rocket to move upwards with sound effects and colour gases. The Chief guests gave an inspiring speech about the importance of young minds contributing to the field of arts, science and technology. The students showcased a range of models including wind mill, earthquake, Water Purification Systems, Solar System, Climate changes, Sustainable Energy Solutions, Human Body Organ System , Old Madras, Seven Wonders of World ,Water fountain, Library and Automated Irrigation systems, Trigonometry Park, Pythagoras theorem, Statistics , Trigonometry ratios ,etc. The shows included Pet House, Ghost house, 3D shows, VR Games, Snow World and Doll house. The Chief Guests, along with the Principal, evaluated the models and listened to the student’s explanation about their projects. The Chief Guests and Parents admired the Students outstanding presentation. The exhibition not only provided an opportunity to children to exhibit their scientific ideas but also gave them the platform to demonstrate their ideas to a larger group of people.
The event concluded with a speech by the Principal appreciating and congratulating all the participants from L.K.G. to XII Stds and parents for supporting the children.
